Hello

I grew up on a farm surrounded by the natural beauty of western North Carolina.  I can't remember a time that I wasn't creating and this love for art was encouraged by family and friends.  Later, I took private lessons and eventually completed an apprenticeship with Julyan Davis in Asheville, NC.  After earning degrees in history and education from Western Carolina University, I became a middle school social studies teacher for nine years.  I continued to paint during these years and I now have returned my attention to my first love, art.  I now produce work for galleries and create original pieces for clients to celebrate their special moments.
